Tzofia Drori, CGC
Certified Genetic Counselor
Tzofia Drori, CGC was born in St.Paul, Minnesota where she was raised with her loving family and nine siblings. After attending Touro University in New York City for her Bachelor’s degree in science, Tzofia discovered a passion for genetic counseling, as she believes this is the bridge between science and health counseling. Tzofia went on to attend Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York where she obtained her Masters of Science in Human Genetics. She began working as a certified genetic counselor in Pediatric and General Adult Genetics at Memorial Hospital, in Hollywood, FL.
The very foundation of her care philosophy is the belief in one’s ability to maintain autonomy over personal health in terms of prevention, diagnosis, and course of treatment. She advocates for equitable access to healthcare services and her patients’ ability to make informed decisions regarding their healthcare. She is committed to improving the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based care for her patients and their families and empowerment of others in a responsible and meaningful way.
In her free time, she enjoys laughing, learning, and trying new things with her beautiful daughter. She enjoys weight training, yoga, baking cookies, reading books, and listening to podcasts on science outside in the fresh, Floridian air.
